RESEARCH ON TOOL WEAR MODEL IN TURNING PROCESS

Abstract

The paper presents a method of approaching and simulating the tool wear progression process taking into account the dynamics of the cutting process. Thereby building a mathematical model of the tool wear process in the form of an integral equation corresponding to the work trajectory (A), power (N) of the cutting force, From there, building an algorithm to identify the parameters of the tool wear progression model during turning.
