Abstract

In Vietnam’s Textile and Garment industry, production process improvement in general is considered a crucial role in establishing sustainable competitive advantages for enterprises. This study applies the Pareto analysis method to identify key operations that significantly impact the production efficiency of  shirt on a sewing line at Garment Corporation 10. Based on actual production data and current-state analysis, improvement solutions were proposed to optimize labor allocation and enhance line balancing. Post-improvement results show that productivity increased from 98.24% to 100.05%, the number of workers was reduced from 43 to 42, and the line balancing index (SI) decreased from 34.13% to 27.28%. These outcomes demonstrate the effectiveness and high practical applicability of the method in improving production processes within the textile and garment industry.
