INTELLIGENT CONNECTION SIMATIC IOT2050 DESIGN OF CONTROL AND MONITORING OF 3B722 GRINDING MACHINE DRIVE MODEL AT ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PRACTICE WORKSHOP

Abstract

The paper presents the research and application on the smart gateway Simatic IoT2050 to the design, control and monitor the Grinding machine drive model 3B722 at the Electrical Equipment workshop. Previously, the control model mainly used relays, switches and discrete devices, making difficult to maintain, expand and monitor the operating status of the devices. The integration of IoT2050 has contributed to digitize the control process, supporting data collection and remote control via the webserver interface. The experimental results show that the application of IoT2050 not only modernizes the control system but also enhances the remotely monitoring ability via the Internet. The operational data is collected and processed by the Node-RED programming platform to monitor and control the device flexibly and accurately. The solution not only brings technical efficiency but also facilitates learners to access the IIoT and automation technology, in line with the trend of the industry 4.0.
