Abstract

As environmental issues, climate change and more efficient use of resources are increasingly being given importance in developing countries like Vietnam, the development of green credit at Vietnamese commercial banks is towards sustainability, making a positive contribution to the balanced and harmonious development of economy, environment and society, contributing to hunger eradication, poverty reduction and improvement of people's quality of life; avoid environmental and social risks. In recent years, many commercial banks have been implementing credit extension towards green growth, paying attention to environmental and social protection issues, and doing business in an environmentally friendly manner. and society to contribute to the national green growth goal. Developing green credit at commercial banks is not only a goal but also a task of the banking industry in the country's sustainable development strategy in general and the banking industry in particular.
